RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kenneth Nickerson be appointed to said
board as the small business representative, to replace John Armour, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dora Johnson, Ron Klaphake, Fernando
Rodriquez, Shanon O'Connor, Edward Rubadue, and William Garcia be reappointed to said
board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Kenneth Nickerson, and reappoint
Dora Johnson, Ron Klaphake, Fernando Rodriquez, Shanon O'Connor, Edward Rubadue, and
William Garcia to said board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Kenneth Nickerson be, and hereby is, appointed to the Workforce
Development Board, with his term to expire December 31, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Dora Johnson, Ron Klaphake,
Fernando Rodriquez, Shanon O'Connor, Edward Rubadue, and William Garcia be, and hereby
are, reappointed to the Workforce Development Board, with their terms to expire December 31,
2004.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 17th day of December, A.D., 2001.
