HomeMy WebLinkAbout810666.tiff RESOLUTION RE : APPOINTMENT OF DR. RALPH WOOLEY, DR. DONNA WRIGHT, MS. ROSE ANSON, AND DR. WILLARD G. JONES TO PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners that recent legislation requires the expansion of membership of the Placement Alternative Commission, and WHEREAS, the Placement Alternatives Commission has recommended that the Board appoint Dr. Ralph Wooley, Medical Director for the Public Health Department, Dr. Donna Wright, counselor with Aims Community College, Ms. Rose Anson, licensed Social Worker, and Dr. Willard G. Jones, lay person from the community, to serve on said Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that Dr. Ralph Wooley, Dr. Donna Wright, Ms . Rose Anson, and Dr. Willard G. Jones be and hereby are, appointed to serve on the Placement Alternatives Commission. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made a seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 12th day of October, A.D. , 1981. The amendments specify that at least 50% of the membership must be from the private sector. In addition, it requires that one of these members be a lay person from the commmity. We are presently in the process of submitting names to you for consideration from the following organizations: Aims Community College (occupational training or employment program) , Weld County Public Health Department, and Our House, Inc. (local residential child care facility) which will partially complete these requirements. Therefore, we are bringing this matter to your attention and request that you appoint a lay person to serve on the Commission.
