RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES
PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together
with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services
Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dave Long be appointed to said committee
to replace Glenn Vaad as the Weld County Commissioner representative; Kent Donahue to
replace Jack Statler as the Greeley Police Department representative; Dale Peterson to replace
Charles Howard as the North Range Behavioral Health representative; and Scott Wykes to
replace Kristen Arnold as the Island Grove Treatment Center representative; and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Dave Long be appointed to said committee to replace Glenn
Vaad as the Weld County Commissioner representative; Kent Donahue to replace Jack Statler
as the Greeley Police Department representative; Dale Peterson to replace Charles Howard as
the North Range Behavioral Health representative; and Scott Wykes to replace Kristen Arnold
as the Island Grove Treatment Center representative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Dave Long, Kent Donahue, Dale Peterson, and Scott Wykes be,
and hereby are, recommended to the Chief Judge of the Judicial District for appointments to the
Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee.

Pursuant to CRS 19-2-1602.7, and upon the recommendations of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
IT IS ORDERED:
The following individuals are appointed to the Juvenile Services Planning
Committee for the Nineteenth Judicial District.
Dave Long is appointed to replace Glenn Vaad as the Weld County
Commissioner Representative.
Kent Donahue is appointed to replace Jack Statler as the Greeley Police
representative.
