RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO 911 EMERGENCY
TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service
Authority Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Rod DeRoo be reappointed to said board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tom Bizzell be appointed to replace Gary
Sandau as the fire protection representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Rod DeRoo to said board, with
his term to expire January 14, 2003.
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Tom Bizzell to said board, with his
term to expire January 8, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Rod DeRoo be, and hereby is, reappointed to the 911 Emergency
Telephone Service Authority Board, with his term to expire January 14, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Tom Bizzell be, and hereby is,
appointed to said board, with his term to expire January 8, 2002.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of February, A.D., 2001.
