Thank you for contacting me regarding funding for the Colorado Transit
Coalition (CTC) .
As a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee , I am very aware of the
many needs and requests received from all around our country . Often , member s
of the Committee are forced to choose between programs which are equally
worthy in order to maintain the balanced budget mandated by law. However , we
in the Committee must also see that certain necessary programs are not
severely compromised during this process .
Please be assured that I will carefully monitor the progress of the funding
for the CTC and I will do my best to make sure that everyone's needs are met.
