RE: APPROVE EXPENDITURE AUTHORIZATION MODIFICATION REQUEST FOR
ADDITIONAL WAGNER-PEYSER POTS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Expenditure Authorization
Modification Request for additional Wagner-Peyser POTS between the County of Weld, State
of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of
the Department of Human Services, Employment Services of Weld County, and the Colorado
Department of Labor and Employment, commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001,
with further terms and conditions being as stated in said modification, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said modification, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Expenditure Authorization Modification Request for additional
Wagner-Peyser POTS between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Human
Services, Employment Services of Weld County, and the Colorado Department of Labor and
Employment, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said modification.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of June, A.D., 2001.

SUBJECT: Wagner-Peyser Expenditure Authorization
Modification Request
Enclosed for Board approval is an Expenditure Authorization Modification Request to
include Wagner-Peyser POTS Funding of Eight Thousand, Four Hundred and Forty
Dollars ($8,440.00) into the Wagner Peyser Base Funding. The revised amount of
Wagner-Peyser Base Funding will be Four Hundred and Ninety Seven Thousand and
Forty Eight Dollars and Seventy Cents ($497,048.70).
The $8,440.00 will be used to provide basic labor exchange services to employers and
job seekers in the Weld County Workforce Center Region.
The period of performance will be July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001

Workforce Center Region.
