RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON
AGING BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mary Eastwood, Don Feldhaus, Ruth
Gartrell, and Don Beierbach be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Patricia Graham and Betty Jones be
appointed to replace Virgil Harper and Paula Bernhardt, respectively, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Mary Eastwood, Don Feldhaus,
Ruth Gartrell, and Don Beierbach to said board, with their terms to expire January 31, 2004,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Patricia Graham to said Board with
her term to expire January 31, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Betty Jones to said Board with her
term to expire January 31, 2002, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Mary Eastwood, Don Feldhaus, Ruth Gartrell, and Don Beierbach
be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Area Agency on Aging Board, with their terms to expire
January 31, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Patricia Graham be, and hereby is,
appointed to the Area Agency on Aging Board, with her term to expire January 31, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Betty Jones be, and hereby is,
appointed to the Area Agency on Aging Board, with her term to expire January 31, 2002.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of February, A.D., 2001.
