RE: APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION NO. 154 - EXETER DRILLING
NORTHERN, INC. AND MR. & MRS. LORENZ
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the
request of Exeter Drilling Northern, Inc. and Mr. & Mrs. Lorenz
for an exemption from the definitions of "subdivision" and "sub-
divided land" in Section 30-28-101 (10) (d) , CRS 1973, as amended,
and Section 2-1 A. (3) of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations ,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that Exeter
Drilling Northern, Inc. and Mr. & Mrs . Lorenz are the owners of
certain parcels of land located in part of the NW4 , Section 30 ,
T3N, R66W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, being more
particularly described as follows :
A tract of land located in the Northeast Quarter
of the Northwest Quarter (NEaNWa) of Section 30,
T3N, R66W of the 6th P.M. , in the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the North Quarter Corner (NaCor) of
said Section 30, and considering the North line
of the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of said Section 30
to bear North 89°36 ' 36" West, and with all bearings
contained herein being relative thereto; thence
along the North line of said Northwest Quarter
(NWa) North 89°36 ' 36" West, 119. 80 feet to a
point on the West Right-of-Way line of U.S.
Highway 85; thence south 1°02 ' 15" West, 892 . 55
feet along said West Right-of-Way line to the
beginning of a curve concave to the Northwest,
having a radius of 5, 640. 00 feet; thence South-
westerly, 293. 31 feet along said curve through
a central angle of 2°58 ' 46" to the True Point
of Beginning:
Thence continuing along said curve Southwesterly,
137. 20 feet through a central angle of 1°23 ' 38" ;
thence on a non-tangent line North 89°28 ' 45" West,
629. 44 feet; to the beginning of a non-tangent
curve concave to the East having a radius of
2805. 00 feet and to which beginning a radial
line bears S 86°36' 13" W; thence northerly 136 . 98
feet along said curve through a central angle of
02°47 ' 53" ; thence on a non-tangent line S 89°28 ' 45"
E 645. 49 feet to the True Point of Beginning.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners that the above described parcels be, and hereby are,
declared to be exempt from the definitions of "subdivision" and
"subdivided land" as set forth in Section 30-28-101 (10) (d) , CRS
1973, as amended, and Section 2-1 A. (3) of the Weld County Sub-
division Regulations, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the resulting par-
cel of land as described above be, and hereby is, considered to
be a single lot.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
April, A.D. , 1982.
