The Site Application process is a separate process with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, which Weld County reviews and signs to allow the applicant to proceed through the State. For new facilities, it is required that the Board of County Commissioners sign the Site Application. Based upon our review, the applicant is in substantial compliance with the Regulations for the Site Application Process (5 CCR 1002-22). The Town of Berthoud is in the process of applying for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit (USR) through the County, which will have Conditions of Approval and Development Standards, as a pad of the process, to address any planning concerns that the County and referral agencies may have. The approval of this Site Application does not ensure approval of the USR, which will be a separate land use process. At this time, the Department of Public Health and Environment and Department of Planning Services, recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve and sign the attached Site Application. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. cam - Q (-71I r .,., _ H -0 W SERVICE,TEAMWORK,INTEGRITY,QUALITY 2001-0623 COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT Water Quality Control Division 4300 Cherry Creek Drive South Denver, Colorado 80246-1530 APPLICATION FOR SITE APPROVAL FOR MODIFICATION/EXPANSION OF: AN EXISTING DOMESTIC WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT APPLICANT: Town of Berthoud PHONE: (970)532.2643 ADDRESS: P.O.
