RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEED TRANS-
FERRING SURPLUS PROPERTY TO THE TOWN OF LASALLE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of March, 1980, the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado declared the
following described property in the Town of LaSalle as surplus
property:
Part of Block 9 , McCutcheons 2nd: Beginning
at the Northeast corner of Lot 7 , Connells 1st
Addition;
Thence North 36°00 ' East, 51 feet;
Thence North 54°00 ' West, 280 feet;
Thence South on the West line of Block 9 , 60
feet, more or less, South 54°00 ' East, 250
feet to beginning, EXCEPT:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 7 ,
Connells 1st;
Thence Northeasterly 20 feet;
Thence Northwesterly parallel to the North-
easterly boundary of Lot 7 , 120 feet;
Thence Southeasterly parallel to the Westerly
boundary of 4th Street 20 feet to the North-
westerly corner of Lot 7;
Thence Southeasterly to the Point of Beginning.
WHEREAS, the Town of LaSalle has expressed an interest in
having said property deeded to the Town of LaSalle so that said
property can continue to be used as a road, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to deed
said property to the Town of LaSalle.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above described
property shall be transferred to the Town of LaSalle and the
Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to sign the Quit
Claim Deed effecting said transfer.

The County Engineer has made a physical inspection of the parcel and it is
being currently used as a road. Said road has been signed "2nd Ave. Ct.".
If you wish to continue to use it as a road the Board will deed said parcel
to you. If you are not interested in this parcel it will be advertised
for sale to the public.
