RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND
2ND AMENDED USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#488 FOR A MINERAL
RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT FACILITY (OPEN PIT MINING AND MATERIALS
PROCESSING, ALONG WITH AN ASPHALT MIXING PLANT) IN THE A
(AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - MOBILE PREMIX CONCRETE, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Site Specific Development Plan and
2nd Amended Use by Special Review Permit#488 for a Mineral Resource Development Facility
(open pit mining and materials processing, along with an asphalt mixing plant) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the S1/2 of Section 16, and the N1/2 of
Section 21, all in Township 2 North, Range 68
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 19th day of September, 2001,
at which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow the applicant
additional time to complete a Traffic Study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
October 17, 2001, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 19th day of September, A.D., 2001.
