HomeMy WebLinkAbout20011027.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AND AUTHORIZE SALE OF SAME TO BOB WATKINS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a bid proposal from Bob Watkins, 140 Sprague Lane, Berthoud, Colorado 80513, and WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain real estate, being more fully described in said proposal which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer required for County use, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a proposal from Bob Watkins to buy said real estate for and in consideration of the sum of $300.00, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said real estate as surplus property and approve said proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned real estate be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
