. Dear Citizens,President Kurtz, and Council Members, y
Please accept my resignation from the elected position of Weld County Treasurer,effective
November 1,2001. In your role as liaison between Weld County's electorate and their elected
officials,I ask the County Council to please assist me in informing the people of Weld County of
this decision.
I truly enjoyed my first six years in office. But something changed this year. For whatever
reason,I went from"Outstanding Treasurer of the Year"to persona non g am without my been locked-in.my. It
doing
anything differently than before. The opinions of my accusers already
would be futile to attempt to change them. To those who know me best,I say"Thank you. Your
' encouragement and support will forever be cherished."
Government is worthy of our best efforts. Politics leaves much to be desired. The
difference between the two cannot be understated.
