The model presented has towns forming a housing authority and then contracting with the County Housing Authority to build some Senior Housing Units. In the case of Erie this was a dozen units. The projects were designed by the County Architect and County Employees did some of the construction. They financed the projects with conventional loans from local banks and grants from the Division of Housing. I explained the project.that High Plains Housing Development Corp had built in Daconno. I explain that due to the low income of the population we serve that we used tax credits for the major funding of the project. This allow us to charge rents of$280 and $360 per month for a one bedroom unit. • HUD review of Intergovernmental Agreement We have received a letter from HUD indicating they had their Legal Department review the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and County Housing Authority. They indicated that their legal department would like some changes. We have not received the detailed comments from their Legal Department at this time. When we do we will inform both Housing Authority Boards on the content.
