In accordance with Article II, Section 3, of the contract approved under
resolution number 2001-2415 EO00 `__, between Weld County Colorado and
Sear-Brown
executed August 27, 2001 for a period of 175 calendar days, the undersigned
hereby agree that the maximum amount payable by the County for the work as set
forth in the said contract is hereby increased by $ 0.00 , to a new total
of $
The services affected by this increase/decrease are modified as follows:
Add additional personnel to "Specific Rate of Pay" table. Expanded table
is attached.
The Consultant shall provide Design and Project/Construction Management
services in accordance with the attached scope of work dated July 13, 2001 and
the attached Consultant's Cost Proposal dated August 14, 2001. Work under
this change order shall be completed within an additional 0 calendar days,
for a new contract time of completion of calendar days. (or No
additional time will be given to complete the work under this change order) .
This amendment to the contract is intended to be effective as of
August 23, 2001
BUT IN NO EVENT SHALL IT BE DEEMED VALID UNTIL IT SHALL HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY COLORADO.

SUBJECT: Change Orders for Federal Bridge Replacement
Projects
Weld County is currently contracting with Sear-Brown for the design of replacing bridges
13-26A over the St. Vrain, and 27-58A crossing Sheep Draw. These are two separate contracts and
are both federally funded.
Attached are two Change Order forms and a letter from Sear-Brown. These documents are
requesting additional Sear-Brown personnel to be added to these contracts. These Change Orders
do not affect the overall contract amounts, but are required by CDOT. These contracts are specific
rate of pay format. In order for additional people to work on these projects, they must be included
in the specific rate of pay table of each contract.
I recommend approving these Change Orders because they do not affect the contract
amounts. They also allow Sear-Brown to use sufficient personnel to complete these designs in a
timely matter.

Dear Cameron,
Attached for your review and action you will find two Change Order documents for the above captioned
bridge projects.
Both Change Orders are for the purpose of adding additional personnel from our staff to the"Specific
Rate of Pay"table for the two projects. As the weeks have gone by since our original submittal,
different individuals have become available to work on the project.
These Change Orders do not add additional cost or time to the project.
