RE: APPROVE RESCINDING RESOLUTION #2001-0193, DATED JANUARY 22, 2001,
AND SET NEW HEARING DATE FOR FOURTH REPLAT OF GILBAUGH'S
APPALOOSA ACRES, S #539 - IVAN AND JOANNE GILBAUGH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution #2001-0193, dated January 22, 2001, the Board approved
the request from Ivan and Joanne Gilbaugh to set a new hearing date for the application for the
Fourth Replat of Gilbaugh's Appaloosa Acres prior to June 6, 2001, and
WHEREAS, because the original application for Gilbaugh's Appaloosa Acres was
approved under the old Zoning Ordinance regulations, it requires thirty (30) days publication
prior to the hearing, rather than the ten (10) days required under current regulations, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to rescind Resolution
#2001-0193, dated January 22, 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to set a new hearing date for March 14, 2001,
at 10:00 a.m., to consider the Fourth Replat of Gilbaugh's Appaloosa Acres, S #539, for Ivan
and Joanne Gilbaugh.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Resolution #2001-0193, dated January 22, 2001, approving the
request from Ivan and Joanne Gilbaugh to set a new hearing date for the application for the
Fourth Replat of Gilbaugh's Appaloosa Acres prior to June 6, 2001 be, and hereby is,
rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a new hearing date be set for
March 14, 2001, at 10:00 a.m.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Request to Set Hearing Date
On January 22, 2001, the Board approved the request of Ivan and Joanne Gilbaugh to set the
hearing date for the Fourth Replat of Gilbaugh's Appaloosa Acres, S#539, for February 14, 2001,
at 10:00 a.m. Because the original application was approved under the old Zoning Ordinance
regulations, this case requires 30 days publication prior to the hearing, rather than the 10 days
required under current regulations. Therefore, the hearing needs to be rescheduled. A hearing
on March 14, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., will allow adequate time for advertising.
