RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO HUMAN SERVICES
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Yvonne Benavides be reappointed to said
board as the parent policy representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mary Fox be appointed to said board as the
Area Agency on Aging representative, to replace Mary Ellen Faules, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Yvonne Benavides, and appoint
Mary Fox to said board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Yvonne Benavides be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Human
Services Committee, with her term to expire December 31, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Mary Fox be, and hereby is, appointed to the Human Services Committee, with
her term to expire December 31, 2003.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of May, A.D., 2001.
