RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF JOHN MICHAELS TO 911 EMERGENCY
TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service
Authority Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Michaels be appointed to said board
as the Law Enforcement-County appointee, to replace Gary Paxton, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint John Michaels to said board, with
his term to expire January 8, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that John Michaels be, and hereby is, appointed to the 911 Emergency
Telephone Service Authority Board, with his term to expire January 8, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of August, A.D., 2001.
