RE: APPROVE NOTICE OF RENEWAL FOR 2001-2002 INMATE INTENSIVE
SUPERVISION PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - DEPARTMENT OF
CORRECTIONS, DIVISION OF COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Notice of Renewal for the 2001-2001
Inmate Intensive Supervision Program between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County
Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of
Community Corrections, commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002, with further
terms and conditions being as stated in said notice of renewal, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said notice of
renewal, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Notice of Renewal for the 2001-2001 Inmate Intensive
Supervision Program between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Community
Corrections Board, and the Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of Community
Corrections be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said notice of renewal.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of April, A.D., 2001.

In accordance with paragraph 1.A.2 of Department of Corrections Contract routing number
98CAA01052, the State notifies the Board of Commissioners of Weld County that it hereby
exercises its option to renew the Contract. The renewed Contract term shall be July 1. 2001
through June 30. 2002. The State intends to change the available State funds encumbered to
$35,000 for the purchase of community corrections inmate intensive supervision program
services. The State's financial obligation under Contract, section 1.A.2. for Fiscal Year 2001-02
may not exceed Thirty-five Thousand Dollars($35.000).
This Contract renewal shall not be deemed valid until it shall have been approved by the
Controller of the State of Colorado or such assistant as he may designate. This provision is
applicable to any contract involving the payment of money by the State.
Please acknowledge this renewal notice by signing in the area indicated below. Kindly return the
form at your first opportunity so that the Department may submit it for the required approval of
the State Controller.

Dear Ms. Spangler,
The Department of Corrections, Division of Community Corrections would like to continue
contracting with you for inmate Intensive Supervision Program (ISP) for the FY 2001-2002.
Based upon our initial estimates,your contract will be $35,000. Attached is the Notice of
Renewal which will extend the contract 98CAA01052 from July 1, 2001 through
June 30, 2002. Please sign five original copies and return to John Vidor at:
