RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR WELD COUNTY PURCHSING AGENT TO DISTRIBUTE REQUEST FOR
PROPOSAL (RFP) .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Director of Finance and Administration and
Superintendent of Building and Grounds have requested that they be authorized
to distribute a Request for Proposal (RFP) to appropriate consulting or en-
gineering firms that could provide technical assistance for an energy conser-
vation program, and
WHEREAS, said Request for Proposal concerns an energy conservation program
for the Centennial Complex and Courthouse in Weld County, with this Request
for Proposal covering the professional services necessary to do a technical
analysis of the buildings and recommend appropriate energy conservation
measures, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable and in the
best interest of Weld County to authorize the Weld County Director of Finance
and Administration, Purchasing Agent, and Superintendent of Building and
Grounds to develop and distribute said Request for Proposal .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Director of Finance and Adminis-
tration, Purchasing Agent, and Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds be, and
hereby are, authorized to develop and distribute a Request for Proposal (RFP)
for presentation of an energy conservation program for the Centennial Complex
and Courthouse.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of February, A. D. , 1980.
