RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING THIRD READING OF ORDINANCE #2001-1, IN
THE MATTER OF REPEALING AND REENACTING CERTAIN CHAPTERS OF THE
WELD COUNTY CODE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Weld County Home Rule Charter, Code Ordinance Number
#2001-1 was introduced on first reading on March 7, 2001; a public hearing and second reading
was held on March 26, 2001; and a public hearing and third reading was held on April 16, 2001,
and
WHEREAS, at said third reading, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of
those present, reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission and staff from the
Departments of Planning Services, Public Works, and Public Health and Environment, and
WHEREAS, having been fully informed, the Board deems it advisable to continue said
matter two weeks to allow adequate time for a work session to be held and for the public to
review recent changes to said Code Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
April 30, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of April, A.D., 2001.
