The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing
Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in
the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, March 26, 2001, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members were
present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Chair
Commissioner Glenn Vaad, Pro-Tem
Commissioner William H. Jerke
Commissioner David E. Long - EXCUSED
Commissioner Robert D. Masden
Also present:
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Finance and Administration Director, Don Warden
MINUTES: Commissioner Vaad moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board meeting
of December 27, 2000, as printed. Commissioner Masden seconded the motion, which carried
unanimously. Commissioner Masden moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board
meeting of February 26, 2001, as printed. Commissioner Vaad seconded the motion, and it carried
unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
CONSIDER REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF DEED OF TRUST AND RELEASE FOR MORWAI DAIRY
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -WAILES/MOSER/NICHOLS: Tom Teixeira, Director of
the Greeley/Weld County Housing Authority, stated Morwai Dairy has completed the employee housing
at the dairy, the owner has paid back the loan money, and he recommends the deed of trust be released.
Commissioner Vaad moved to approve said Request for Release of Deed of Trust and Release and
authorize the Chair to sign. The motion, which was seconded by Commissioner Masden, carried
unanimously.
CONSIDER REQUEST FOR PARTIAL RELEASE OF DEED OF TRUST AND PARTIAL RELEASE AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN-CATHOLIC CHARITIES NORTHERN: Mr. Teixeira stated due to a lot line
adjustment on the property for the Guadalupe Center they are requesting a partial release of the Deed of
Trust. Commissioner Jerke moved to approve said Request for Partial Release of Deed of Trust and
Partial Release and authorize the Chair to sign. Commissioner Masden seconded the motion, which
carried unanimously.

Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to and respectfully submitted
by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m.
