RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Carol Karre be appointed to said board to
replace Lisa Klett, that Donald Johnston be appointed to said board to replace Trent Hollister,
and that Hannah Dreiling be appointed to said board to replace Randie Lanning, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Randie Lanning be reappointed to said
board to replace Phil Rouse, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ted Morgan, Sonny Schneider, and Tom
Bledsoe be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Carol Karre, Donald Johnston, and
Hannah Dreiling to said board, with their terms to expire September 30, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Randie Lanning to said board,
with his term to expire October 31, 2002, and to reappoint Ted Morgan, Sonny Schneider, and
Tom Bledsoe to said board, with their terms to expire September 30, 2004, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Carol Karre, Donald Johnston, and Hannah Dreiling be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Fair Board, with their terms to expire September 30, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Randie Lanning be reappointed to said
board, with his term to expire October 31, 2002.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Ted Morgan, Sonny Schneider, and
Tom Bledsoe be reappointed to said board, with their terms to expire September 30, 2004

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 31st day of October, A.D., 2001.
