RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZE
SALE OF SAME
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of
be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an inventory list of items no longer
needed by the Weld County Ambulance Service, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment being more fully
described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is no
longer required for County use, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and
approve the sale of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared
surplus.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 7th day of March, A.D., 2001.

RE: Surplus Equipment
The ambulance service has several old oxygen regulators, radios, miscellaneous
medical equipment, and parts that are now obsolete to our needs. Many of these items
could be used by the volunteer fire departments in the county.
Please accept this memo as our request to declare these items surplus so that we may
sell or donate them to the fire districts.
