Q Heather Hathaway 7673 County Road 6 Brighton, CO 80603 Julie Chester t plattil act. Weld County Planning Off court-- 1555 North 17Ih Greeley, CO 80631 ¢\JG n 9 2I3°1 Dear Julie, W tl August 7, 2001 Just wanted to give you a quick update on where we stand with our plans for a commercial boarding kennel, (USR# 1261). We hired Glovers Drilling to start drilling the well. I was able to get an extension on the well permit and the drilling should be complete in a couple of weeks, (and not a moment to soon based on the enclosed letters from Mountain View Water!). Once the well is complete we will start working with an architect to do some preliminary designs for the building. At this point I don't know when we will actually start building. The cost of the well is significant and is an expense that we initially hadn't planned on. Financing will play a big role in when the building will begin. I will keep you informed of things as they progress. I understand that as long as plans are moving forward, we will not in jeopardy of having the USR revoked. Things always seem to take longer than I had hoped, but we will eventually have a great business! Take care and I will stay in touch! . Sincerely, //,,WaSiriHeather Hathaway dooi- 35* pGl' © O August 2 2001 M Mountain View Water User's Assoc. P.O. Box 485 Brighton, CO 80233 303-637-0335 Users of Mountain View water Mountain View is required to submit one monthly water sample for bacteria testing. Our July 30 sample showed 'higher than acceptible count for coliform bacteria. In January we switched chlorine in well # 2 fromY'gas to liquid. In April well * 1 was upgraded to liquid chlorine. some adjustments have been needed to regulate chlorine in wells 1 & 2. Late in July _ we discovered the gas chlorinator at well it 3 was not dispensing chlorine , which I believe to be the cause of our current problem. On July 30 well * 3 was upgraded to the new liquid chlorine system. The liquid system is much safer for the operator and also has a clear tank for the operator to Monitor if chlorine is dispensing and visually know if the chlorine tank is empty. Colo. Dept of Health is working with us to solve the current problem. The Mountain View staff apologises for any inconveniences_ We would appreciate the users cooperation in_..;sampling water from homes for both bacteria samples and chlorine samples. You 'may notice high chlorine in the water until the problem is solved. for Questions contact John Howard 303 659 0798 , Joe Trostel 303 452 8595 Joh H(Ward , president C 7/0 -.,sAa w•v- Qos•.worocUD7V Jun 19c jil 15:19 F.02 e1d co p 3.1111 Inspect- rag t IC: , 2u\ WARNING • t Effective Immediately ecEN vple served by Mountain View BOA, • E.cell/Petal caliform bacteria were found in your water in samples taken on June 15&27,2001.
