RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO BOARD OF PUBLIC HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dr. Denny Williams be appointed to said
board as the District 3 representative, to replace Ben Slater, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Roy Spitzer be reappointed to said board as
the at-large representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Dr. Denny Williams and reappoint
Roy Spitzer to said board, with their terms to expire May 23, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Dr. Denny Williams be, and hereby is, appointed to the Board of
Public Health, with his tem to expire May 23, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Roy Spitzer be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Board of Public Health, with his
tem to expire May 23, 2004.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of July, A.D., 2001.
