RE: DESIGNATE LaSALLE LEADER AS LEGAL NEWSPAPER FOR A ONE-YEAR
PERIOD FROM MAY 1, 1982 THROUGH APRIL 30, 1983
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director of Weld County has, pursuant
to law and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, advertised for bids
for County advertising and legal notices for a one-year period
commencing May 1, 1982 and ending April 30 , 1983 , and
WHEREAS, the LaSalle Leader has submitted the lowest bid
to Weld County, which bid is as follows :

Each subsequent insertion--Price per Inch 820
PUBLISHING PROCEEDINGS OF COUNTY COMNIISSIONERS AND COUNTY WELFARE BOARD:

PUBLISHING OF SEMI-ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENT FURNISHED BY COUNTY
TREASURER:
To be published within 60 days following June 30, and December 31,
1982,

PUBLISHING DELINQUENT TAX LIST, SOLID NONPAREIL, SINfT,F COLUMN MEASURE:
The actual cost of the fee for publication of each description
of lots or tracts of land in the delinquent tax list computed at:
First insertion--Price per Inch 840
Each subsequent insertion--Price per Inch 820
ALL ADVERTISING SHALL BE SET IN NONPAREIL TYPE UNLESS OTHERWISE ORDERED.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the LaSalle Leader be,
and hereby is, designated as the official newspaper for the pub-
lication of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners
and County Welfare Board, and for the publication of legal notices
required by law to be published by the various Weld County offi-
cials for a one-year period commencing May 1, 1982 and ending
April 30, 1983, all as per the hereinabove schedule.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that a satisfactory bond, subject to the approval of the Board
of County Commissioners, may be required of the LaSalle Leader
in connection with the award of this contract for advertising, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that said Board may consider the use of other news media as addi-
tional methods of informing the citizens of certain official acts ,
events, determinations, proceedings and meetings , pursuant to
Skction 16-6 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this contract shall become effec-
tive on May 1, 1982, and that the Board reserves the right to
terminate this contract at any time.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote onthe 21st day of
April, A.D. , 1982.
