RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR DISPATCH SERVICES AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - BANNER HEALTH SYSTEM, OPERATOR OF NORTH
COLORADO MEDICAL CENTER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to Agreement for
Dispatch Services between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, and Banner Health System, Operator of North
Colorado Medical Center, commencing January 1, 2001, and ending December 31, 2001, with
further terms and conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Amendment to Agreement for Dispatch Services between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, and Banner Health System, Operator of North Colorado Medical Center be, and
hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of January, A.D., 2001.

AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
This Amendment is made to the Agreement between Weld County, Colorado, by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, (hereinafter referred to as
"County"), and•Banner Health System, a North Dakota non-profit corporation, operator of
North Colorado Medical Center, (hereinafter referred to as "NCMC").
RECITALS
A. NCMC and County entered into that certain Agreement For Dispatch Services, dated
January 1, 2000, (the "Agreement"), pursuant to which County agreed to provide
emergency radio dispatching services and support for Air Life transports.
B. NCMC and County now desire to amend the Agreement and Amendments thereto, if
any, in certain respects.
Now, therefore, incorporating the above Recitals and in consideration of the mutual covenants
herein contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Section 2 shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
TERM: This Agreement for Services shall be for a 12 month period beginning January
1, 2001, through December 31, 2001, subject to the termination provisions set forth in
Paragraph 6 below.
2. Section 3. A. shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
NCMC AGREES:
A. To pay County $43,626.00 for services provided by the WCRCC for the 12
month term of this Agreement. Payments shall be made as follows: $21,813.00 by
January 15, 2001, and $21,813.00 by July 1, 2001.
3. Full Force and Effect.
Except as expressly provided herein, the Agreement shall remain unmodified and in
full force and effect.
In Witness Whereof, the Parties have executed this Amendment as of the 1st day of January,
2001.
