RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING CHANGE OF ZONE #541 FROM THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT TO PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) ZONE
DISTRICT - JOHN AND CHARLOTTE CARLSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Change of Zone #541 from the
A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zone District on a parcel
of land located in part of the W1/2 NE1/4 NW1/4 of Section 4, Township 5 North, Range 65
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, for John and Charlotte Carlson, do Tom Honn,
1601 Quail Hollow Drive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80525, and
WHEREAS,a hearing before the Board was held on the 15th day of November, 2000, at
which time John and Charlotte Carlson withdrew their application, and the Board deemed it
advisable to continue said matter to March 14, 2001, at 10:00 a.m. for the sole purpose of
setting a new hearing date for consideration of a revised application for a Change of Zone from
the A (Agricultural) Zone District to a Commercial Zone District, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 14th day of March, 2001, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to May 16, 2001, at 10:00
a.m. to allow the applicant additional time to complete the revised application, and set a new
hearing date to consider a revised application for a Change of Zone from the A (Agricultural)
Zone District to a Commercial Zone District, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing on May 16, 2001, the Board deemed it advisable to refer
said Change of Zone #541 back to the Weld County Department of Planning Services for
review of a revised application for a Change of Zone from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to a
Commercial Zone District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the application of John and Charlotte Carlson for Change of
Zone #541 from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zone
District on the above referenced parcel of land be, and hereby is, referred to the Weld County
Department of Planning Services for review of a revised application.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of May, A.D., 2001.
