In regards to the referenced case,this is to notify the Weld County Planning
Department that HS Gathering, LLC ("HSG") owns and operates one sixteen inch natural gas
pipeline that is situated within the boundaries of the proposed development. From the plans
received by HSG it appears that the Zadel's planned use of the property should not adversely
affect HSG's pipeline provided that Zadel ensures adegnate cover over the line where the
heavy equipment will be entering and exiting the property. You had earlier indicated that
Weld County Public Works was requesting 4 inches of asphalt for cover. Our pipeline
engineer would like to see 8 inches of asphalt cover where the equipment will be crossing the
line.
Please be advised that any activity on HSG's right-of-ways is absolutely prohibited,
without approval from HSG, and any approval plan concerning the proposed development
must consider MSG's rights (and safety)need to access the pipeline. Please do not hesitate to
