COMMENTS:
Property has numerous oil and gas facilities including tank batteries, oil and gas well heads and
separators. Many tanks have recently been pumped.
The river bottomland appears to be heavily grazed with little if any grasses present. There are
numerous noxious weeds present. Automobile bodies and derelict automobile tires serve to reinforce
the river bank north of the eagle roost.
Wildlife habitat adjacent to river with eagles flying/roosting overhead. River corridor area is scenic and
beautiful. Prairie dog colony(s) are numerous and located in south area of property near"Krystals Lake"
Access to property: WCR 36 is gated at WCR 23. Access is gained to property at north end near WCR
42.5 or so. All points of access have cattle guards as the bottomland has long horn steers on site.
St. Vrain Historical monument and grounds are within the area to be mined. The granite monument is
slated to be on the historical registered places for both the state and national directories. In time the
Platteville Historical Society will maintain grounds and fixtures.
WCR 23 and WCR 36 are chemically treated two lane roads with 60 feet ROW. The Western Mutual
Ditch is adjacent to the west of WCR 23 and WCR 36.
