RESOLUTION
RE: REJECT BIDS CONCERNING IBM 370/138 MODEL J COMPUTER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the IBM 370/138 Model J Computer, owned jointly
by Weld County and Boulder County, has been declared to be sur-
plus property, and
WHEREAS, bids for said computer were presented on July 23,
1980, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has been informed that Boulder County desires to retain
said computer and would match the high bid of $36, 000 with the
proceeds to be distributed according to the formula contained in
the agreement between Weld County and Boulder County, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to reject all bids received and to approve the sale of the computer
to Boulder County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that all bids received concerning
the sale of the IBM 370/138 Model J Computer be, and hereby are,
rejected.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the sale of said
computer to Boulder County, as hereinabove mentioned be, and
hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
July, A.D. , 1980 .
