RE: SET HEARING DATE TO CONSIDER ROAD PETITION FOR VACATION OF A
PORTION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY ON WELD COUNTY ROAD 6 - ROCKY MOUNTAIN
WILDLIFE CONSERVATION CENTER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Road Petition from the Rocky
Mountain Wildlife Conservation Center, 1946 Weld County Road 53, Keenesburg, Colorado
80643, requesting the vacation of Weld County Road 6 between Weld County Roads 53
and 55, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to set April 11, 2001, at
9:00 a.m. as a hearing date to consider said petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that April 11, 2001, at 9:00 a.m. be, and hereby is, established as the
appropriate time to consider the Road Petition from the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Conservation
Center requesting the vacation of Weld County Road 6 between Weld County Roads 53
and 55.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of March, A.D., 2001.
