HomeMy WebLinkAbout20010963 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND OF TAXES - REGENCY HALLMARK WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 28th day of March, 2001, at which meeting there were present the following members: Chair M. J. Geile and Commissioners Glenn Vaad, William H. Jerke, and Robert D. Masden, with Commissioner David E. Long being excused, and WHEREAS, notice of such meeting and an opportunity to be present has been given to the taxpayer and the Assessor of said County, and said Assessor, Stan Sessions, being represented by Raelene Anderson, and taxpayer Regency Hallmark, not being present, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have carefully considered the attached application, and are fully advised in relation thereto. The statement included deletions to the account with values rounded to the nearest dollar. The statement also listed additional equipment (signs, fixtures, shelving, and showcases)to be added to their account for the 2000 tax year. Those values were submitted in dollars and cents, however, no decimal point was used. The individual who worked the account entered those values as whole numbers, creating the rather large over-statement of value. C!
