SIUNAI UKt OF I'tIIIIUNI[K9(17A JC hN 4- ,7 0D, 1 UAIE Dear Weld county Board of Equalization : I am appealing the decision of the weld County Assessdor ' s office to determine the amount of the taxes that I am to pay for the year 2000 - 2001 . Based on the amount paid on our taxes for year 1999-2000 our property was only valued at $ 105000 dollars I do not believe that there is not any property in this (hillside ) sub division that has sold for $123982 dollars . I have talked to my neighbors about what a property would sell for in this area . The thought was between $105000 One Hunded Five Thousand and One Hundred Ten Thousand . Enclosed you will find a copy of our taxes for the 1999- 2000 year . My wife and I enjoy our home and feel as seniors on S . S . we need all the help we can get . S . S . does not go to far and when taxes are raised it seems that some how some one has forgoten that the goverenment does not give us a raise to help pay our taxes . So I am appealing your decision on our property tax and pray that you can find it in your heart to lower it a little more .
