HomeMy WebLinkAbout20013351.tiff RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTION AGAINST KENNETH KREAGER FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Kenneth Kreager, VI #0000222, is allegedly in violation of the Weld County Code, and WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has not been corrected, and WHEREAS, on the 11th day of December, 2001, a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and WHEREAS, Kenneth Kreager, property owner, was present at said hearing, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to refer said violation to the Weld County Attorney's Office for legal action, with an instruction for delay of action upon such referral until June 11, 2002, to allow adequate time for the property owner to apply for a Building Permit for the portion of the house he is remodeling. In sending the letter addressed to Bruce Gillmore it was delivered to his new house on Weld County Rd 34. There was a considerable delay in our receiving the letter, which should have been delivered here. Rather than explain the complexities of our partnership, suffice it to say that all mail and or inquiries about this permit should be directed to me at the address above. When we originally drew the permit our intention was to begin serious construction on the remodel of our house some years ago, however, financial problems forced us to postpone all our plans until this summer. Thus, we have just reached a point where we are ready for our first inspection since we have only just finished the majority of the re-framing of the structure.
