RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW#1276 FOR A SOLID
WASTE DISPOSAL SITE (COMPOSTING FACILITY) IN THE A(AGRICULTURAL)
ZONE DISTRICT -JOHN MOSER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Site Specific Development Plan and
Use by Special Review Permit#1276 for a Solid Waste Disposal Site (Composting Facility) in
the A (Agricultural) Zone District for John Moser, 6600 West 20th Street#11, Greeley, Colorado
80634, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 13th day of December, 2000, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to January 17, 2001, to allow
adequate time for completion of the technical review from the Colorado Department of Public
Health and Environment.
WHEREAS, at said hearing on January 17, 2001, the Board was advised by staff that
the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is still conducting the technical
review; the Planning Commission continued this matter to February 6, 2001; and staff
recommends the Board continue it to February 28, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
February 28, 2001, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 17th day of January, A.D., 2001.
