RE: APPROVE HOKESTRA PIT WATER AUGMENTATION RENTAL AGREEMENT WITH
CITY OF GREELEY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Weld County Engineer has brought it to the Board' s
attention that Weld County is in need of renting water for an
augmentation plan at the Hokestra Pit, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has submitted a letter of
agreement between Weld County and the City of Greeley, attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley has available and agrees to
rent 52 acre feet of CBT units at a price of $20. 00 per acre foot,
and
WHEREAS, the procedure for said rental is to remit to the
City of Greeley $1, 040. 00, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley will issue the necessary transfer
order to the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, who
will then place the 52 acre feet of CBT at the disposal of Weld
County for 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Hokestra Pit water
augmentation rental agreement between Weld County, Colorado and
the City of Greeley at a price of $20. 00 per acre foot for 52
acre feet of CBT units be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
June, A.D. , 1982.

Dear Drew:
This letter will confirm the Water Board's action of June 10, 1982 re-
garding your request to rent water for an augmentation plan and our
telephone conversation of this date.
The City of Greeley has available and agrees to rent 52 acre feet of CBT
units to Weld County for the price of $20 per acre foot. The procedure
from this point is to remit $1,040 to the City of Greeley and we will issue
the necessary transfer order to the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy
District, which will place the 52 acre feet at your disposal for 1982.
