PVC plastic must conform to one of the standards in Table 702.2 of the 1997 International Plumbing Code, which is the adopted code in Weld County. The following standards are recognized for DWV piping: ASTM D 2665; ASTM D 2949; ASTM F 891; CSA CAN/CSA-B181.2. For your information, the following codes have been adopted in Weld County: 1997 Uniform Building Code; 1998 International Mechanical Code; 1997 International Plumbing Code; 1999 National Electric Code; Weld County Building Code (WCBC). I can furnish you with a copy of the WCBC, if you would like, which outlines all of the amendments to the codes.
