RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING VI #0100240 AGAINST JOHN AND DENISE
WALKUSCH FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, John and Denise Walkusch, VI #0100240, are allegedly in violation of the
Weld County Code, and
WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has
not been corrected, and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of November, 2001, a public hearing was held before the
Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation,
and
WHEREAS, John Walkusch, property owner, was present at said hearing, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to continue the
matter until January 8, 2002, to allow adequate time for John Walkusch to have his eye
repaired and resume his career as a truck driver, or apply for a Use by Special Review Permit
for a home business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that VI #0100240 be, and hereby is, continued until January 8, 2002,
to allow adequate time for John Walkusch to have his eye repaired and resume his career as a
truck driver, or apply for a Use by Special Review Permit for a home business.
