RE: ACCEPT TWO DEEDS OF DEDICATION FOR A PORTION OF WELD COUNTY
ROAD 104, ACCEPT SAID PORTION OF ROAD FOR FULL MAINTENANCE, AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN NECESSARY DOCUMENTS - BRUNELLO, LLC/PAUL
AND BRENDA HOUSER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Brunello, LLC, a Colorado Limited Liability Company, 2229 Iroquois Drive,
Fort Collins, Colorado 80525, and Paul and Brenda Houser, 6985 Weld County Road 104,
Wellington, Colorado 80549-1736, have submitted Deeds of Dedication and requested Weld
County accept a portion of Weld County Road 104 for full maintenance, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has informed the Board that a portion of Weld
County Road 104, west of Weld County Road 15 for a distance of one-half mile, has been
completed and, upon inspection by his department, is found to satisfy Weld County standards
and is recommended for acceptance by Weld County for full maintenance, and
WHEREAS, acceptance of said road for full maintenance includes snow removal and
any necessary repairs, including the roadways, shoulders, or drainage ditches, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to accept said portion of Weld
County Road 104 for full maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the portion of Weld County Road 104, west of Weld County Road
15 for a distance of approximately one-half mile, be, and hereby is, accepted onto the Weld
County Road system for full maintenance by Weld County.

have no objections to this.

Subject: Extension of Weld County Road 104 West of Weld County Road 15
Dear Mr. Hempen:
In approximately April of this year I met with you and Mr. Donald Carroll. At that time
we discussed the fact that Brunello LLC wishes to complete Weld County Road 104 for a
distance of 1/2 mile. Attached is a copy from the Plat that shows the location of the road,
along with the proposed access points (marked PA), and copies of Weld County Road
Access Information Sheets for Lots A and B as shown on the Plat. Also attached is a
statement from Paul and Brenda Houser that states they are aware that we wish to use this
road for residential access, and that they have no objection to this.
We have completed construction on that portion of WCR 104, and believe that it meets
Weld County Road Standards. We respectfully request that Weld County assume
ownership of the road. After you or personnel of the Public Works Department have
inspected it, if there are any other requirements please let me know. Brunello LLC will
be happy to consider additional work on the road if needed.
