The Department of Planning Services is requesting that the Board review the individual cases and determine whether or not to authorize legal action to remedy the violations. Weld County Zoning Violation Cases: VI-0000151, Mr. Ira M. Daigle & Co 31.3.9 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance Noncommercial Junkyard consisting of numerous derelict vehicles, miscellaneous automotive parts, tires, wood, metal and miscellaneous debris VI-0000192, Mr. & Mrs. Von Honnecke 23.1.12, 33.4.7 and 33.6.1.9 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance Not in compliance with Site Plan Review"SPR-274", numerous derelict vehicles and a camper/recreational vehicle being used as an office. VI-0000227, Mr. & Mrs. Fay Mavity 31.3.9 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance Noncommercial Junkyard consisting of wood, metal fencing materials and miscellaneous debris. Building Code Violation Cases: VI-0000203, Mr. & Mrs. Butler(Continued from December 12, 2000, the County Board of Commissioners moved to continue this violation to February 13, 2001) Currently in violation of the following: Stick-Built Building. 30.5 of the Weld County Building Code Ordinance, Building Permit Inspection Procedures requires that all inspections be satisfactorily completed. 60.5.2 of the Weld County Building Code Ordinance, Final Inspection requires that when the installation of any plumbing and drainage system is complete, a second or final inspection shall be made. Upon final inspection, final approval of the plumbing permit shall be noted upon the permit. 70.5.1 of the Weld County Building Code Ordinance, Final Approval and Certificate of Occupancy is issued after final inspections,when it is found that the home complies with the provisions of this Code as can reasonably determined, the building official shall issue a certificate of occupancy. The Butler family has requested inspections to be scheduled on January 9, 2001. I support the Board's motion to continue this violation until February 13, 2001. VI-0000254, Mr. & Mrs Butler(Continued from December 12, 2000the County Board of Commissioners moved to continue this violation to February 13, 2001 ) Currently in violation of the following: Straw bale detached 1 car garage/workshop. 30.5 of the Weld County Building Code Ordinance, Building Permit Inspection Procedures requires that all inspections be satisfactorily completed. 50.5 of the Weld County Building Code Ordinance, Electrical Permit Inspections Procedures requires that all inspections be satisfactorily completed. 50,5.3 of the Weld County Building Code Ordinance, Final Inspections requires that when the installation of any equipment is complete, a second or final inspection shall be made. Upon final inspection, final approval of the electrical permit shall be noted upon the permit. The Butler family has requested inspections to be scheduled on January 9, 2001. I support the Board's motion to continue this violation to February 13,2001. VI-0000259, Mr. & Mrs. Stroud (Continued from December 12, 2000) Currently in violation of the following: Stick-Built Barn, storage shed. '30.5 of the Weld County Building Code Ordinance, Building Inspections Procedures requires that all inspections be satisfactorily completed. At this time only setbacks have been approved dated 10/30/97. On December 12, 2000 Mr. & Mrs. Stroud informed me that they would remove the barn. On January 4, 2001 I inspected the barn, it is approximately forty per cent remove. My recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners is to continue this violation to February 13, 2001 as the final deadline to remove the barn. Building Code Violation Cases Closed: V-0000262, Ms Janice Young Electrical inspection approved.
