ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT dated August 1, 1978
(hereinafter the Original Agreement) , by and between
UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY (Lessor) and COUNTY
OF WELD, State of Colorado (Lessee) covering lease
of premises for highway purposes in Pierce, Colorado,
for a term of twenty-five years commencing August 1,
1978 , unless sooner terminated as therein provided.
The Original Agreement is identified in the records
of the Lessor as Audit No. A-104380 .
IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED by and between the
parties to the Original Agreement as follows:
Section 1. DECREASE IN RENTAL.
Effective as of August 1, 1978 , the Lessee
agrees to pay to the Lessor as rental for the use
of the leased premises the sum of one thousand one
hundred sixty-five dollars ($1, 165 .00) for the term
hereof, payable annually in advance, in lieu of the
rental heretofore stipulated.
Section 2 . AGREEMENT SUPPLEMENTAL.
This Agreement is supplemental to the Original
Agreement and nothing herein contained shall be construed
as amending or modifying the same except as herein
specifically provided.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have
caused this Agreement to be executed in duplicate

RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN LEASE BETWEEN WELD COUNTY
AND THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1980 , the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County voted to renew the Union Pacific Railroad
lease for a portion of road right-of-way for County Road 33 north
of Pierce where it intersects with County Road 90, and
WHEREAS, the term of said lease is for 25 years and the
rental fee is $1 , 165 . 00 for the 25-year term, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to authorize the Chairman of the Board to sign said lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County , Colorado that the Chairman of the Board
be, and hereby is , authorized to sign the lease agreement between
Weld County and the Union Pacific Railroad for the leasing of a
portion of road right-of-way as described above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of
May, A. D. , 1981.
