The proposed plan amendment reflects amendments made to the Upper Front Range Transportation Planning Region's 2020 Regional Transportation Plan. The amendments affect the Unfunded Long Range Needs plan and reflect System Preservation projects. Unfunded Long Range Needs - System Preservation projects: Increased cost estimates: For the Upper Front Range 2020 Regional Transportation Plan (I-76 Adams/Weld County Line to Morgan/Washington County Line) from $145,240,000 to $197,000,000. The proposed plan amendment reflects the following changes that have been made to the Intermountain Transportation Planning Region's 2020 Regional Transportation plan. The changes affect the Unfunded Long Range Needs plan and the Fiscally Constrained plan: Amendments to the Unfunded Long Range Needs Plan 1. Project Cost Reduction: The Colorado Intermountain Fixed Guideway Authority(CIFGA)estimate of the Fixed Guideway System from DIA to the Eagle County Airport,cost changed from$8.85 billion to$3.9 billion. 2. Project Name Change and Increased Project Cost: From: I-70 US-6 Erosion Control Straight Creek to Eisenhower Tunnel -$11,000,000. To: 1-70 Straight Creek and Black Creek Erosion Control -$30,000,000($19,000,000 plus the original $11,000,000). 3. Add: One noise wall at Dillon Valley-$2,500,000. 4. Increase Project Cost: SH-9 Frisco to Breckenridge, from$22,766,000 to$38,766,000. 5. Add: SH-9 Bottom of Hoosier Pass to Breckenridge-$3,315,000(Project moved from the Fiscally Constrained Plan). 6. Add: US-6 1-70 to Keystone - $27,404,000(Project moved from the Fiscally Constrained Plan). 7. Add: I-70 Vail Simba Run Grade Separation -$10,000,000. Amendments to the Fiscally Constrained Plan Projects Moved to Unfunded Long Range Needs: 8. US-6 I-70 to Keystone - $27,404,000(Moved project to the Unfunded Long Range Plan). 9. SH-9 Bottom of Hoosier Pass to Breckenridge-$3,315,000(Moved project to the Unfunded Long Range Plan).
