RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM LEROY AND PHYLLIS JOHNSON TO PRE-ADVERTISE
SITE CHANGE OF ZONE #556
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Leroy and Phyllis Johnson, 25938
Weld County Road 47, Greeley, Colorado 80631, c/o Todd Hodges Design, LLC, 2412 Denby
Court, Fort Collins, Colorado 80526, for pre-advertisement of an application for Change of
Zone #556 from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development for
five (5) lots, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as Lot A of Recorded Exemption #2308, being
part of the N1/2 of Section 25, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request,
with the hearing date to be set as May 9, 2001, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request from Leroy and Phyllis Johnson for pre-advertisement
of an application for Change of Zone #556 from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD
(Planned Unit Development for five (5) lots be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
request be, and hereby is, set as May 9, 2001, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of March, A.D., 2001.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Request for Preadvertisement
Leroy Johnson has submitted a request that the application for Change of Zone #556, which will
be heard by the Planning Commission on May 1, 2001, be preadvertised. If you wish to approve
this request, a hearing before the Board on May 9, 2001, will allow adequate time for advertising.

The applicant and the Department of Planning Services are requesting a pre-advertisement for
the above referenced case, as the planner of record, Kim Ogle will be on vacation for a period
not to exceed thirty days commencing on June 7, 2001.
The requested pre-advertisement will ensure that the Board will be able to hear this Change of
Zone application prior to Mr. Ogle's leave of absence.
