Frank's Ride for Children celebrated its fifteenth year on Sunday May 20, 2001. This year
three (3) "Wish Kids" participated and rode in our sidecars! The kids and their families had a
great time and appreciated seeing so many people turn out to support them.
We wish to acknowledge you - Esther and the entire Weld County Government Council-for
your years of dedication and caring - because of your support, Frank's Ride 2001 was a
success! With the support of organizations like Weld County Government, Frank's Ride will be
ensured continued success.
On July 19, 2001 the Poker Run Committee proudly presented a donation check in the amount
of $22,000 to Patti Speer - Events Director for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Colorado.
We gratefully welcome your continued support in choosing to share the power of a wish and
making a difference in the lives of some special children fighting tremendous odds.
