Greeley, CO 80632 Dear Ms. Daniels-MV ika, Valley View Airfield is a privately owned airport that was originated between 1965 and 1966. The land was purchased from Henry Klein by Chuck Easton. This airport is open to public use for business or pleasure. Its identifier given by the FAA and the Colorado Department of Transportation is Greeley-Easton/Valley View Airpott OIV). From the beginning, this airport has conducted various flight operations including flight instruction, aerial spraying, helicopter operations, banner towing, aerial photography, aircraft repair, and at one time, skydiving. This airport has handled much activity since the beginning and continues with a high level of activity now. It has created opportunities and jobs for many people. The number of flights has a wide range from 600 to 800 per year. This includes aerial spraying, student pilots, private pilots and others. We are open publically for fuel sales to any outside traffic that needs fuel, primarily JETA and 100 LL. All runways and taxiway areas are maintained according to the Colorado Division of Aeronautics' standard. We are an active airfield that is open to the public. To remain safe for people on the ground and any pilots exercising flight operations,we need as much protection as we can get from too much building on the end of our runways.
