79th Annual GREELEY INDEPENDENCE STAMPEDE
Recognizes the County of
Vey, e0-farad&
WHEREAS, the 2001 GREELEY INDEPENDENCE STAMPEDE is the
"World's Largest 4th of July Rodeo &Western Celebration"TM with
festival fun from June 22 through July 4; and
WHEREAS, WELD COUNTY has been a good home to Greeley and a
strong supporter of the Stampede in the past; and
WHEREAS, the GIBBET INDEPENDENCE STAMPEDE is celebrating
it's 79th Anniversary year; and
WHEREAS, this year's concert lineup includes such great talent as Travis
Tritt, Jo Dee Messina, Jessica Andrews, Smash Mouth, Billy Gillman, 38
Special, The Monkees, The Beach Boys, Kenny Rogers; and others
WHEREAS, the Stampede Committee would like to invite the
COUNCIL OP WELD COUNTY to attend the Stampede Family Day,
Demolition Derby, Bill Hames Shows Carnival, Kids Rodeo, BBQ's,
Flapjack Feeds, Watermelon Feeds and other exciting events;
