Re: AmUSR-1199
Dear Ms Best Johnson
Your Special Review Permit Administrative Review asks that I Address the concerns and
requirements of the Weld County Public Works as outlined in a referral response received
at Planning on Nov. 2, 2000.
Don Carroll Memorandum dated Oct. 31, 2000 states that Weld County Public Works has
_ no conflict in amending a portion of the Hamm Pit Labeled at Lot A 44.42 acres out of the
USR1199.
Diane Houghtaling Memorandum of Oct. 12 and February 22, 2000 have concerns on Z-
539. These concerns are being addressed as we complete final engineering for the 14 lot
subdivision known as Meadow Vale Farm 3rd. Filing

Re: Am USR 1199 1t 4,
Dear Ms Best Johnson:
This is in response to Colorado Geological Survey letter of Nov. 20, 2000.
The amount of fill placed in the area of the 14 lots have raised to level so that the water and
sewer line will not be effected by a shallow water table. The water main has already been
installed and the construction took place above the ground water. in addition all basements
and crawl space will be one foot above the 100 year flood level.
The CLOMR-F was applied for and the 100 year flood elevation was determined. All
basements and crawl spaces will be one foot above the flood elevation. We will after
homes are completed apply for a Final Letter of Map Revision.
As a matter of routine Weld County Building Department requires a"engineered foundation
design" for each house before a building permit is granted.
I believe this addresses the concerns of the Colorado Geological Survey letter of Nov. 20,
2000.
Sincerely,
MEADOW VALE FARM
