RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN RATIFICATION OF LEASE
AND RATIFICATION AND CONSENT TO UNITIZATION - NIELSON
ENTERPRISES INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a ratification of lease and ratification and consent
to unitization of Nielson Enterprises Inc. has been presented to
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board has studied said ratification of lease
and ratification and consent to unitization and deems it advis-
able to authorize the Chairman of the Board to sign the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of said
Board be, and hereby is, authorized to sign the ratification
of lease and ratification and consent of unitization of Nielson
Enterprises Inc.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
December, A.D. , 1982 .

RATIFICATION OF LEASE AND
RATIFICATION AND CONSENT TO UNITIZATION
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT, WHEREAS, that certain oil and gas lease dated May 6, 1970
from JESS KOENIG and ORPHA G. KOENIG, husband and wife, as Lessors, to
Energy Mineral Corporation, as Lessee, recorded in Book 627, Reception
No. 1548854, of the official Records of Weld County, Colorado, and
amended November 9, 1971, recorded in Book 688, Reception No. 1610367,
of the official Records of Weld County, Colorado, is owned by Nielson
Enterprises Inc. in so far as it covers the following described land
in Weld County, Colorado, to-wit:
All of Lessor's interest in Section 13 of Township 2 North,
Range 67 West, 6th P.M. , including but not by way of limit-
ation all of Lots 7 and 8 of The Lupton Meadows Land Company
Division No. 1, located in the S/2 SE/4 of said Section 13.
All of Lessorts interest in Section 18 of Township 2 North,
Range 66 West including but not by way of limitation that
part of Lots 5 and 7 lying west of the South Platte River
and located in the SW/4 of Section 18.
NOW, THEREFORE, in considerations of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)
and other good and valuable considerations, the County of Weld, State of
Colorado does hereby lease, demise and let said land unto Nielson Enter-
prises Inc. subject to and under all of the terms and provisions of said
lease, and as to said land, does hereby agree and declare that said lease
is now in full force and effect.
FURTHER:
The County of Weld, State of Colorado, for the above stated con-
sideration, owner of an interest under the above captioned lease, which
lease is listed on Exhibit "A" of Declaration of Unitization, dated
April 21, 1980, recorded in Book 905, Reception No. 1826853, Weld County,
Colorado, records, covering the S/2 Section 13-T2N-R67W, being the Jack
W. Eastman G.U. , on Exhibit "A" of Declaration of Unitization, dated
October 20, 1975, recorded in Book 754, Reception No. 1676479, Weld
County, Colorado records, covering the S/2 Section 18-T2N-R66W, being
the CLC Gas Unit and also listed on Exhibit "A" of Declaration of Unit-
ization, dated October 20, 1975, recorded in Book 754, Reception No.
1676478, Weld County, Colorado Records, covering the East 80 acres of
the SW/4 Section 18-T2N-R66W, being the Highland Unit, does hereby
Ratify the above listed Declarations of Unitization and consent to the
unitization and pooling of all its interest in and to the above described
lands within the Jack W. Eastman G.U. , the CLC G.U. and the Highland Unit.
This document shall be binding upon the parties and upon their heirs,
successors, representatives and assigns.
EXECUTED this 20th day of December, 1982.
